Director of Operations & Founder's Associate

Elodie W.

Responsibility, Continuity & Care

Elodie Willy came to Art!Rex Curatorial Management & Patronage from banking and client relations, a world where contracts are read closely and a promise is kept to the letter. She brought that discipline with her, along with a strong sense of responsibility.

Working closely with the Founder, she sees that agreements reach the right hands and that every commitment is honoured. The documentation of each work is in her keeping. She also coordinates residencies, collaborations and institutional partnerships, so that the artists can give their full attention to what they create.

Elodie is valued as much for her character as for her rigour. She is dependable and considerate, and she handles each task with discretion and sound judgement.

Her presence gives the house its stability, and brings a quiet determination to the relationships it forms with artists and partners over time.

She believed in Art!Rex long before it had a shape, and she has stayed through every uncertain season of building it.
